Who it's for

MoonshotMail is built by its developer for their own use, with their own Google accounts. It isn't sold, distributed, or offered to the public.

How it uses Google data

MoonshotMail signs in with Google and uses the Gmail API to read, search, and organize the signed-in user's mail, and to send replies only when the user chooses to. It runs entirely on the user's Mac and talks directly to Google. There's no MoonshotMail server, and no mail data goes anywhere else.
